Most commonly practiced today as a group exercise activity, yoga was traditionally learned through individual instruction and guidance. Yoga is often thought of as a series of movements or postures but also includes a component of breath coordination and meditative awareness. A yoga practice can be strong and active or very quiet and gentle depending on your individual needs. Your session will provide one-on-one instruction and support as we determine which exercises best meet your needs. These lessons will help you to feel confident practicing at home or in a group setting.
Yoga can help with stress reduction, impulse control, pain relief, and strength & flexibility, and it often helps us to feel better and stronger in our daily lives. In your session, we will check in about your needs for the day and practice together the postures and exercises that are the best fit for you. No physical contact is required, and you can wear any comfortable clothing.
